X-Men: Apocalypse Review

Kriss & Tim review X-Men: Apocalypse. After 15 years of X-Men films you should know what to expect with this film. The problem is? As a film directed by Bryan Singer, this is shockingly bad.

Whoooo lordy! All I have to say is tighten up, Bryan Singer. I’m probably one of the fairest people walking the green Earth, and this one felt like X3 all over again. I’m not exaggerating either. From the magical objects turning into dust down to awkward moments between multiple love interests. Most things felt rushed. Seriously, things were EXTRA corny and cheesy. Like seriously! Believe it or not, there were some great things about this movie, thank you Nightcrawler and Quicksilver. Most of the XMen movies are actually decent movies once you purge your brain of the comic/source material. This film was not good whether doing that or not. Man, this movie was on Double Dragon level, man. And even that was good for its time. I could go on for days, but man… did they bring in some writer we don’t know about? I’m done. Keep up the good work, y’all.

Yeah that’s the thing that bothers me most. Forget the comic book source issues. As a movie this film was just poorly put together.
