The Witcher Season 1 Spoiler Review

Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivera in The Witcher

Ro and Kriss get together to discuss season 1 of Netflix's The Witcher. This was a surprisingly well put together series. There have been some complaints about the confusing timeline of the show, but we found it to be a pretty good for letting the story unfold as well as developing the characters. Once it becomes obvious that the story is being told from three different points of view (and time) from three different characters over the entire season, with each episode moving time closer to convergence, it’s worth the initial confusion.

We also talk about how great it is to see a fantasy series that upfront committed to diversity and inclusion. When compared to the first season of Game of Thrones, there’s really no comparison on characters of color and women getting speaking roles and story. And more importantly, they’re all varied in the type of characters they’re playing. What can we say, it’s refreshing.

Listen as we go into spoilers and details as to why we really enjoyed season 1 of The Witcher.
