I’m out. As a fan of the books I was pumped from the first season of this show and thought they would take the major points of the book and stretch them out a bit. The show has completely gone off the rails. They messed up major plot points of the book and added and expanded one shot characters for absolutely no reason. I could forgive this if the show was any good but it wasn’t! GOT doesn’t follow the books and I love that show, but it’s well written and entertaining! I hate almost all the characters on The Strain, and as a woman some of these female character archetypes are disgusting. I felt nothing for any of the characters, and for someone who cries during almost every show I’ve watched this is an epic fail on the part of the series. It failed to evoke any emotion in me. I’m so pissed I wanna spoil the books for everyone but I’d rather they actually read them first. And I know this has been said before but new Zac SUCKS! Great review by Kriss & Sterling.
