The Boys Season 3 Episodes 6 to 8
Season 3 of the Boys really hit close to home. The previous seasons have always been timely but this season of the Boys really ripped things right out of the news, wrapped them in absurdity and really turned a mirror back on society. This season proves why the show has surpassed the comic. Sure, we still get the over-the-topness of things like Herogasm but what really makes this show work is the way it shows us how broken people can turn society upside down. If there were any doubt that Homelander and Billy were villains, this show completely erases that. Honestly, the only three people we really feel for are MM, Frenchie and Kimiko.
There were so many things to like about this season and these last 3 episodes. Big among them is Soldier Boy vs Homelander. Old school racist vs new school racist. Both villains and bad guys in their own right but in some ways you're rooting for Soldier Boy to beat the shit out of his son.
Also Ryan is gonna be a problem. Yes Billy is trying to keep a promise to his dead wife but ummm...he should have killed that kid. Cause now he's just a mini-Homelander.
Season 4 can't get here soon enough.
