Superior Spider-Man Part 2: Along Came a Norman Osborn…
We wrap up the Superior Spider-Man run with issues 16 – 33. Norman Osborn reveals himself and ruins everything for Otto and leads to Peter once again taking control of his body and becoming Spider-Man again. Otto’s arrogance lead to his downfall but we really do get a good look at the life Otto wanted. He was finally getting the recognition for his work and even found a woman he loved. But he finally understands that he can’t be Spider-Man without making some personal sacrifices. Dan Slott does a great job of showing the meaning of “With Great Power There Must Also Come Great Responsibility”. It’s not just a phrase that motivates Spider-Man but an active choice in a life style.
