In ‘The Perfection’ Rivalry Takes A Turn

Kriss and Ashanti, with guest Ro, are back to talk about Netflix spring surprise, The Perfection
Charlotte (Allison Williams), a one-time musical prodigy, stepped away from her career to care for her sick mother. After her mother's death (ten years later), Charlotte finds herself at loose ends. Free to resume the life she abandoned, Charlotte turns to her former mentors and teachers. Joining them abroad, Charlotte comes face-to-face with Elizabeth (Logan Browning) now favorite pupil and star-in-the-making. These rival musicians swiftly realize they have undeniable chemistry.

But, despite all the smoldering intensity between the two (and some artfully done sex scenes), the audience won't be able to shake the feeling that Charlotte is absolutely up to something. Charlotte comes back on a mission. Even when it's clear what's coming something always feels off. Even after they show their hand it's obvious more is going on with these players. The Perfection still has some twists and turns left in its storytelling bag.
The Perfection, a Netflix Original, started streaming in May. This horror film lives and dies on its twists and turns. So a guarantee if you saw the trailer, you absolutely have the wrong impression of what's about to unfold. Ladies and Gents, that trailer is a whole-ass lie; but that's a good thing.
