Nostalgia Review: Conan The Barbarian


I had every intention on going into this Reminiscing With Kriss for the 1982 Conan The Barbarian film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and talking about how bad of a film it is. But amazingly the film holds up. Director John Milius did a great job working around the limitations of his cast in order to maximize their effectiveness. We discuss how the score of the film substitutes for the lack of dialogue and works extremely well with telling the story even if the characters aren't speaking. We also talk about the stageplay/theater feel some of the scenes have that also work very well for the film
