Nostalgia Review – Alien

We're going through the Alien Trilogy for our Nostalgia Reviews and we start with Ridley Scott's 1979, Alien. We talk about how much this film holds up and what it does that is so revolutionary with the way it's filmed as a Sci-Fi Horror film. We also talk about how the film tricks the audience into accepting a female protagonist before they even realize it with the way Sigourney Weaver's Ripley emerges as the main character.  This was a really fun discussion. Give it a listen and stay tuned for our other episodes on the rest of the series.
