Pros:
- The updated concept works pretty well
- Video game elements & tropes are done pretty well
- The cast works extremely well together and carry the movie
Cons:
- The story is pretty forgettable
- Visuals aren't up to par
- Bobby Cannavale's Van Pelt is pretty much worthless as a villain

While the story is super basic and not really that great, the cast works so well together that's probably going to be enough for many to find this movie fun and entertaining
