Gripping New Trailer for Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Detroit’


Annapurna Pictures has released a gripping new trailer for 'Detroit', the latest film from Academy Award winning director Kathryn Bigelow (Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), starring John Boyega. The film tells the story of what happened at the Algiers Motel incident during the 1967 12th Street Riot in Detroit. The film is not based off of the book The Algiers Motel Incident by John Hersey who says the book rights are not up for sale.
