Doom Annihilation: A Surprisingly Fun B-Movie
One day a few weeks ago I was just scrolling through Netflix when a little gym popped up: Doom Annihilation. What's this? A new Doom movie. And it wasn't animated...it was live-action? Could it be true? Could there be a new guilty favorite of mine to watch? It's no secret that one of my guilty pleasures is the 2005 Doom movie. I share that love with Rod from the Black Guy Who Tips. So you know we just had to watch this new Doom movie. Would it be as bad (and therefore as good) as we imagined?
Short answer? Yes. Yes it's not "good" but its also the entertaining and fun B-movie we were expecting from Doom. And they might be making a sequel. We're all onboard. Now that's not saying you should just run out and see this. But if you're a fan of the latest Doom games and you too take pleasure in the 2005 Doom movie...well...you might want to give Doom Annihilation (and this review) a try.
