This is a great film that feels more like part 2 of Ryan Coogler's Creed and not just a sequel. Caple manages to keep the same realness of the first film while also exploring the characters even more. This film does a better job of fleshing out Ivan Drago (and his son) more than Rocky IV did. 

We also discuss why this film has a lower critic score than the first film. To put it bluntly, we don't think white critics are fully processing what this film is showing and that the also missed the point of the first film.
