On this Comic Book Book Club, we discuss Christopher Priest's Black Panther vol 3 run. We start with the first 12 issues. While we do point out some issues with have with some of the things in this run, what we really like is how this is the starting point for the definitive Black Panther many of us have come to know. There is a clear distinction made between Black Panther and the rest of the Avenger heroes, with the focus on him being the head of a nation. We also talk about what seems to be a calculated decision to have Everett Ross act as a surrogate for the typical white male comic book reader and how it works in making this a good reintroduction to just how great T'Challa is.
