We're back with part 1 of our 3 part Christopher Nolan rewatch series (Correction: At the time of this posting we just recorded our 2nd part with Inception and realized Brandon hadn't seen The Prestige so now this is a 4 part series) . Nolan is known for his well-shot, cerebral thrillers and Momento certainly lives up to that. What happens when you tell a narrative in reverse? It could be a gimmick or it could be a pretty good narrative device that still has some solid twists and turns. This film is really the beginning of how Nolan twists the audiences by telling them what to believe then slowly breaking all those rules and logic as he goes along. It's masterful storytelling and if you've never seen Momento then you need to stop right now and go watch it.

Part 2 of this series will be on Inception. Followed by The Prestige (we know it should have been before Inception but we initially left it out) and then ending with Interstellar. This is going to be a fun series to do so make sure you sign up if you're not already premium.
